Stuart and Natasha Ellis formed First Light in 1998; a family-owned business that is committed to delighting its customers through excellence and integrity. Both their family and their business are based on powerful clear values of love and integrity. They love to inspire, encourage, and equip people in what's possible. Their passion includes facilitating transformation, in life and parenting.

Owners and Directors
Stuart Ellis
Stuart has been a registered electrician for over 20 years and has gained a wide variety of experience in the electrical industry. "I love making a difference and by asking great questions, great ideas and solutions can be found, it's about working together to get the best result possible".
Stuart's passion for creative lighting also extends to rock concerts. For the past 16 years, he has been the lighting director for the Mainstage at the Parachute Music Festival. With an extraordinary team of volunteers and 600,000 watts of the latest high-end lighting technology, this internationally renowned music festival continues to inspire and attract tens of thousands every year. A real highlight was working with Bruce Ramus formerly U2'S Lighting Director of 30 yrs (also Queen, David Bowie, and more).
Natasha Ellis
After gaining her Masters Degree in Materials Engineering, Natasha worked as a scientist for the Defence Technology Agency. Her experience, expertise and attention to detail in management and operations help set first light apart.
The Team
Clint Fergus
When you work with a guy like Clint he just seems to make everything feel effortless. His friendly and confident personality makes for an enjoyable day and a successful project. In his spare time he loves to snow board and surf which makes him one of those relaxed guys that are prepared to climb steep mountains and swim hard just to be able to ride effortlessly through snow, sea and life, in style.
Joshua Cristall
Josh beat out 150 other applicants to become a first light apprentice. We think he is fantastic and you will too. He has showed himself to be a quick learner that listens well and loves to do a great job. He grew up with three older sisters and loves to skate and play keyboards.
Josh to his credit has been working & studying hard, he continues to plow through his studies and is now well and truly a top apprentice & a pleasure to work with.

Luke Nutting
Luke has joined us from the UK where he originally qualified as an electrician. He is passionate about fitness and is training for the iron Man race in Taupo in 2012.
We know he will give it his all, cause he does every day.

Amber Sanchez
Amber is our fantastic admin person, if she doesn't know where it is, it doesn't exist. Amber is married with two kids and a wonderful husband.
She is in the office Monday through to Wednesday 9 till 3pm (for kids pick up)
